Social Action
"... We extend love and compassion to our members, friends, and the community at large." - excerpt from the UUCL Mission Statement
We as Unitarian Universalists place a strong emphasis on social action and serving our community. We believe that through our good deeds we can help make the world a better place.
During 2011 the Unitarian Universalist Church of Loudoun is celebrating it's 20th Anniversary but making a commitment to participate in at least 20 service projects throughout the year. These have included Grace to Go, the Gleedsville Road Clean-Up, participating in Keep Loudoun Beautiful's Goose Creek Clean-Up and many others. Look for more information about upcoming events.
