A Message from Our Ministers
Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Loudoun.
Unitarianism and Universalism have deep historical roots, going back to the Reformation, and intellectual roots going back even further. They came together fifty years ago in this country to form the Unitarian Universalist Association.
We draw today on our Jewish and Christian heritage, and from other religious traditions, as well as from humanism and science, as we welcome people regardless of theological beliefs. The conviction that we can find truth in many places is reflected in the symbols of the world’s great religions displayed above our chancel.
Whatever your creed, whatever your color or ethnic origins, whomever you love, we welcome you to walk together with us on life’s journey, supporting each other as we find our own spiritual paths, and join in the work of justice.
We meet for worship at 10:00 each Sunday morning, also providing religious education for children and youth. We offer a variety of opportunities for adult religious education as well, and for service to our community.
Currently we meet in a historic country chapel at 20460 Gleedsville Road, on the outskirts of Leesburg.
As co-ministers, either of us would welcome a chance to talk with you and respond to any questions. We can be reached by telephone or e-mail as shown below.
